An eloquent collection representing Hope - Light at the End of the Tunnel

Was on show until 18th Dec 2021 at Block F, Al Qasba, Sharjah, curated by Art4You Gallery, the exhibition showcase artworks from various Artist, their interpretation & inspirations on what 'HOPE' means to them.

Every Artist is designated with a wall as their exhibition space. The placement of the artworks is well organized allowing you to appreciate individual works as well as the overall collection.

Few of the notable pieces from the exhibition are -

Finding Hope - Honey Taheri

An Acrylic painting created on 65x80 cm canvas with different technique and textures. The light in the center represents a ray of hope and the textured surface symbolizes the rough path one takes in life to complete their journey.

Sculpture Buddha - Megha Manjarekar.

An acrylic painting on 60x80 cm canvas highlights the concept of hope and prosperity.

The Artist has constructed different segments in the painting to provide viewers with contrasting opinions. The work is a blend of elements, from depiction of barren land to fertility and growth. The form of Buddha ties it all together, depicting hope is at the core of the life circle.

Towards Ghardaïa - Labiba Ferhat

The painting is a journey of a man. It tells a story of him walking through the desert towards his home. The artist has brilliantly used cold colours to depict his path through the hardships. This is then contrasted by the warm colors to signify hope that kept him motivated to reach his destination.

Labiba has used Mosaic art style on a canvas of 50x70 cm with acrylic paints. This painting is a homage to her country Algeria.

Other remarkable artworks at the exhibition are - "Self Love" by Tabassom Samadani, "Islamic Art" by Kolsoom Zaynali, "Hope" by Hina Raheel.

There is no better way to appreciate art but in Natural Light! The exhibition curated by Jesno Jackson, Founder of Art4You Gallery is well done. The artworks align with the theme and to exhibit these works in open space at Al Qasba, enhances the viewer's experience.

It was worth a visit!
