Paintings by Chris Barley and Karoline Denisha are one of the favorite works for this writer.
In the Cave is a contemporary Abstract Art by Chris Barley created on 50x50cm (about 1.64 ft) canvas. The inspiration comes from Chris's curiosity and emotions experienced while visiting caves in France. The calculative strokes and texture showcase artist's mastery in his craft. The Artist aims to evoke once imagination and interpretation with all his works currently on display using limited colour palette for each. As your eyes travel from the edges to the center of the painting, an image of your own fiction starts to take shape, elevating your experience as an observer.
Karolina Denisha's Anger Managementis a re-take of her successful painting exhibited in 2020 at Covid Conversations. The painting lends such a profound degree of articulations of the artist's emotions, that as a viewer, you instantly connect with the painting as your own. The red signifies the Anger playing a dominant part and the black and white is representation of confinement. the Golden colour seeping through the confinements is the precious SILENCE. The bounds created by one's emotions is very well captured by the Karolina.
